The practice nurses are available for travel advice and vaccinations, asthma clinics, weight advice, dressings, removal of stitches, blood pressure checks, cervical smears, advice on minor injuries, ear syringing, basic well-man and well-woman checks. They operate an appointment system and it is very important for patients who are travelling overseas to book well in advance of holidays as some vaccinations need to be given quite a while before travelling.

Reception & Admin
We have a large reception and administration team who try hard to meet all your needs as promptly as possible. Please understand we do need a little time to get forms filled in, letters typed etc. Many patients request completion of forms in 24 hours or less and this is just not possible. We cater for around 12000 individual patients and while we try to do things as quickly as possible we naturally get a huge number of requests. We will always do our best to help and if there are problems we would ask you to bring them to the attention of the practice manager. Some forms do not come under the NHS Services and you may be charged for them to be completed.
